Presentation Skills for Public Speakers

Guy Kawasaki wrote a good post on Public Speaking titles: “How To Get A Standing Ovation”. Since Guy is somebody who loves lists, this too is an eleven point list. Check it out.

My favourite points in his list are Nr. 3 (Entertain your audience),  Nr. 7 (tell stories), Nr. 8 (talk to some people in the audience before you hold your speech) and Nr. 11 (this is a classic, but it can’t be said often enough: practice, practice, practice).
